Frontier Airlines Celebrates Veterans with Exclusive Discounts

In a heartfelt gesture, Frontier Airlines is launching a special promotion in honor of Veterans Day. The budget airline is offering a remarkable 50% discount on base fares for both active and retired military personnel, as well as their families. To take advantage of this offer, eligible service members can enter the promotional code VETS when booking through Frontier’s website.
Details of the Fare Sale
This fare sale will be active until Sunday, October 27, and applies to travel dates up until December 18. Travel + Leisure has identified several enticing discounted routes including:
- Columbus, OH to Houston, TX for $145 roundtrip
- San Antonio, TX to Boston, MA for $159 roundtrip
- San Diego, CA to Washington, DC starting at $156 roundtrip
Please note that there are certain restrictions regarding eligible cities and travel dates; notably the discounts are not applicable during peak travel periods such as Thanksgiving week. Additionally, it’s important to understand that the discount only applies to base fares and does not cover taxes or fees associated with ticket purchases.
A Chance for Recognition and Rewards
As part of this initiative, Frontier Airlines is also hosting a contest where ten veterans can win a $250 flight voucher by sharing their personal stories. Participants are encouraged to submit photos along with descriptions detailing what being a veteran means to them via an online form on Frontier’s website.

- Delta Air Lines: Offers exclusive benefits including discounts on Delta Vacation packages tailored specifically for military members.
The hospitality sector also shows appreciation through discounts aimed at Military personnel and First Responders; Marriott Vacation Club resorts across the U.S. and Caribbean provide a generous 15% discount using promo code XYD.
