Unveiling Key Features and Specifications of OnePlus Buds Pro 3
The design of the charging case resembles that of the Nord Buds 3 Pro, featuring an elegant leather or faux leather trim in front. It comes equipped with USB-C connectivity and a pairing button. Users will have two color options for the earbuds: Midnight Opus (black) and Lunar Radiance (silvery-gold). The overall weight of the case is approximately 61 grams.
Battery longevity appears impressive at around 43 hours when utilizing the case—four hours more than its predecessor—and they boast an IP55 rating for resistance against dust, water splashes, and sweat. Connectivity will be via Bluetooth version 5.4 offering low latency at just 94 milliseconds while also supporting dual connections.
Each earbud incorporates dual drivers consisting of an 11mm woofer paired with a 6mm tweeter—the same configuration as seen in Buds Pro 2—and provides support for LHDC audio codec version up to approximately 24-bit / 192kHz; this is an upgrade from LHDC version 4.0 available in earlier models. Although LHDC isn’t as commonly recognized as LDAC or aptX Adaptive codecs, it’s still compatible with various OnePlus smartphones.
The noise cancellation capabilities have been enhanced to reach up to 50 decibels compared to last generation’s 49 decibels while promising superior sound suppression overall. Additionally, featured prominently within their marketing approach is Dynaudio’s equalizer—offering tailored presets designed specifically for different music styles.
In our assessment of OnePlus Buds Pro 2 review, we found them commendable overall but felt there was potential room for improvement in sound quality; thus anticipation rises regarding whether this new iteration could remedy such concerns since it was considered one notable shortfall among its predecessors).
No official price information has emerged as yet; however, it would not be unreasonable to expect pricing similar to existing models—which debuted at $179 / £179 back in 2023—placing them comfortably within mid-range territory among Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) buds. They fall into a price category above JBL Live Pro 2 and Beats Studio Buds yet positioned below premium options like Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds.
