The Game’s Appeal and Challenges for New Players
From my observations and research, it appears that this title successfully captures the essence of simulation along with much of the narrative that fans of BattleTech/MechWarrior hold dear. Clans seems adept at fulfilling its objectives, and I perceive it as being relatively welcoming for those new to the franchise compared to previous installments. However, despite its standalone design and claims of being newcomer-friendly, I did not find myself transformed into an expert tactician or an avid fan of combat mechanics.
