Travel Maestro Continues to Inspire Globally
Rick Steves has carved out a significant presence in the world of travel, being a familiar name for many enthusiasts. As a child, my parents were devoted followers of his PBS travel series, and years later, when planning our inaugural journey to Europe, my husband and I eagerly searched for Rick Steves documentaries on YouTube for each destination we intended to visit. His insights are so valuable that I often wish he had documented every nation across the globe.
Over more than three decades and beyond 150 episodes later, Steves remains actively engaged with his craft. This dedicated traveler spends approximately 100 days annually in Europe—the heart of his work—often undertaking grueling schedules that involve filming up to 12 hours each day over successive weeks.
