The grand unveiling of the world’s largest floating infinity pool — a collaboration by Swiss architecture firm Herzog & de Meuron, constructed in Finland and assembled on Italian soil — has become a stunning highlight.
Among the hotel’s collection of 75 accommodations (encompassing 24 guest rooms, 49 suites, and two exclusive villas), most provide breathtaking views of the lake along with private balconies.
Culinary artist Chef Massimiliano Blasone artfully merges elements from Italian and Japanese cuisines at L’ARIA, the lakeside fine dining establishment within the hotel.
A Closer Look at Comfort
Nestled within a historic botanical park on Lake Como’s eastern shore, this elegant hotel boasts a selection of 75 guest rooms and suites across nine unique structures. Each space radiates modern Italian sophistication infused with natural tones that enhance rather than distract from spectacular lake panoramas. Notably, every entry-level room features its own balcony alongside picturesque views of the water.
The accommodations come generously appointed with custom-designed furnishings, expansive walk-in showers adorned with luxurious Diptyque bath products, and opulent marble bathrooms for guests to enjoy. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed with artisanal bread sourced from a local bakery; nightly turn-down service included an enticing assortment of chocolates instead of just one treat.
The crowning jewel among accommodations is undoubtedly the Panoramic Suite which boasts an expansive terrace complete with sun lounging space and exclusive access to a private swimming pool that overlooks Lake Como itself.
This property faces westward offering sun-soaked days filled with warmth followed by mesmerizing sunset displays each evening.
